Certificate III in Individual Support Home Care Specialisation
This qualification offers individuals an introduction to all aspects of a carers role including personal care, supporting health and wellbeing, assisting people to maintain independence in their home of choice, provide welfare and support systems, and support daily living activities.
Students will gain a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the ideas and practices required to provide a person-centred support.
Certificate III in Individual Support Disability Specialisation
Students will gain a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the ideas and practices required to provide individualised support to help clients reach their full potential , engage with their community and pursue their personal goals.
This course is designed for existing workers without a current qualification or individuals new to the industry wanting a career change and want to become involved in a community care setting
Individual Support Disabilities Specialisation Skill Set from CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support
This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support for an individual with a disability needing specialised individual support.
