Certificate III in Individual Support Ageing Specialisation

The CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation) has become the entry level qualification for a rewarding career in the Aged Care industry. This qualification offers individuals an introduction to all aspects of a carers role including maintaining independence, personal care, supporting health and wellbeing, recognising healthy body systems and activities of daily living. Students will gain a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the ideas and practices required to provide a person-centred support.
Individual Support Disabilities Specialisation Skill Set from CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support

This course is for individuals who are currently employed in the community and residential industry or have completed Certificate III in Individual Support and can demonstrate competence.
This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support for an individual with a disability needing specialised individual support.
