In this course you will learn the basic structure of storytelling.

Introduction

Through the creative writing course, you will become exposed to the basic structure of storytelling. You will define your purpose, your aim and your vision. This fun course will get you thinking creatively and will explain the difference between writing memoirs, short stories, and writing for TV and for film.

Your instructor, Dona Parise, has been writing since the age of 12 when she co-wrote her first novella with a friend. In the late 1990's Dona wrote her first one act play titled 'Dining Out' which was taken to the Stage West Festival of One Act Plays and won 'best unpublished play' and Dona won 'best novice director'. She has had over 25 productions of her work in Griffith, Wagga, Lithgow, Sydney, Melbourne and Los Angeles. She writes screenplays and has attended NIDA for various courses in Writing and Directing. www.donatellaparise.com/
